Blooms in Focus: Smartphone Photography Clinic

  • Margo Frankel Woods Des Moines, IA, 50313 United States (map)

$20

Spring wildflowers are fleeting, but your photos don’t have to be! Join us for a class where you’ll learn to capture the delicate beauty of blooming flowers using just your smartphone. Led by professional photographer and Wander Women guide Stephanie Mott, this hands-on class will teach you how to work with natural light, compose stunning shots, and use simple editing techniques to make your images pop. No fancy camera? No problem. This workshop is all about making the most of the camera you already have in your pocket.

At the peak of wildflower season, we’ll head into the field to practice photographing the vibrant colors and intricate details of spring’s best blooms. You’ll get expert tips on how to frame your shots, adjust settings for the best clarity, and tell a visual story through your images. Whether you’re a total beginner or just want to improve your outdoor photography skills, this class will help you slow down, see nature differently, and leave with a camera roll full of wildflower magic.

Registration is limited to 15 folks.
