Welcome the new season with a golden hour hike with us! The summer solstice marks a time of brand new — long, light nights, blooms and wildlife, and a season of connection to the earth. Celebrate with us on the day the season turns over, with a hike through one of our favorite hidden gems in Central Iowa.

Dive deep into the early summer prairie with us as we learn all about native Iowa prairie plants! The summer is when the prairie blooms start popping — join us as we learn to ID common plants of the Iowa prairie and then enjoy a summer evening picnic!

To celebrate Pride Month, join Pie Bird Pies and Wander Women Midwest for a very special Pride Pike! Celebrate the end of Pride Month during this extra special, extra queer Pike extravaganza! We’ll gather at Water Works Park, and then chow down on some delicious treats from Pie Bird Pies and coffee from Current Coffee. All proceeds from registrations will be donated to the Iowa Safe Schools.
