Join us for a wildcrafted harvest dinner with the incredible and knowledgeable Iowa DNR naturalist, Ann Riordan! To start the evening, we will embark on a foraging hike through Springbrook State Park, foraging for some of the ingredients for our meal as a group. Then we’ll make a delicious wildcrafted meal with our found goodies. We’ll share tips and tricks about cooking with forageables, like garlic mustard, nettles, lambs quarter, chickweed, mushrooms, edible flowers, and so much more.

Sound Bath Hike: An Earth Day Celebration with Resonate Healing
Join us for an Earth Day event focused on connecting with nature with Hannah Rush of Resonate Healing! During this event, we'll take a guided gentle meditation hike through the budding spring landscape of Warren County that will focus on mindfulness within nature and noticing the small gifts the earth presents us with during the season. Following our hike, Hannah will lead the group through a soul-soothing sound bath.

Looking to up your cooking game and make chefs kiss meals around the campfire? Look no further than this installment in our Camp Cooking series: Vegan and Vegetarian cooking! Participants will learn how to make delicious vegan and vegetarian meals, and the basics of camp cooking and outdoor cooking techniques! You will help make your own dinner (mocktail, appetizer, entree and dessert) in this hands-on event, and be ready to create it on your next adventure.
