Come learn how to tap a maple tree with us! Ever wondered about that sweet, sticky syrup on your pancakes and the process of how it goes from tree-to-bottle? Join us for a Sunday afternoon hike with maple tapper Ryan Francois of the Woodland Realm to find the perfect maple tree to tap. We’ll demonstrate the basics of tapping and tap a tree while on this hike. We’ll chat about the ethics of maple harvesting, the boil-down process, how to ID maple trees, and so much more! After our hike and tapping demonstration, we’ll gather for a fire and serve maple hot chocolate and answer any questions you may have! Participants will go home with a spile of their own and the knowledge to try tapping at home!

Registration is limited to 25 folks.
