You don't need to travel far to have a blast during spring break! Join us for a delightful and kid-forward Sprouts Spring Break Hike at the beautiful Jester Park! This event is designed for nature-loving mom/female caregivers and their adventurous sprouts of any gender aged 6-10 to enjoy a memorable outdoor experience together.
What's on the agenda? We’ll hike through woodland and prairie and learn about the plants and animals that call Jester Park home. We'll have a fun spring-themed scavenger hunt that will have us scouting for flowers and animals and all things green. We’ll learn all about how to be a good steward of our trails with a yummy Leave No Trace trail mix activity! And after our hike, we’ll make our very own pinecone bird feeders to take home, and learn more about the animals we often see while in our parks. Plus we’ll have hot tea, hot cocoa, and light snacks after our hike to enjoy and refuel!
Registration is limited to 13 pairs (one adult/one child) with an option to add on additional children!
