Join us for a community hike, Nebraska! These hikes are free and open to women, non-binary and gender non-conforming folks who feel comfortable in spaces that center the experiences of women. Bring your friends, bring your hiking buddies, bring total strangers who look like they like nature! We're just excited to gather with all you nature nerds.

This hike, we'll be hiking at DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge in Missouri Valley. The trail we'll take is about 1.6 miles and is dirt. It is beginner friendly and is a maintained trail. Dogs and kids welcome! We’ll also have hand pies from Carter & Rye to celebrate a beautiful day!

We recommend bringing a small backpack, water bottle filled with water, an extra layer, and maybe a granola bar or other snack!

Accessibility information Adventure Rating: Beginner Each Wander Women event has an Adventure Rating attached (Beginner, Intermediate or Challenging) to give Wanderers a better idea of the activity level and physical requirements of the event. This Bite-Sized Adventure is rated at Beginner because our hike will take place on well groomed trails, with access to primitive toilets.
