Indian Cave State Park, located south of Peru, offers some of the best hiking in eastern Nebraska with steep hills leading to stunning views of the Missouri River Valley. Join us for a half-day adventure as we hike a 6-mile loop of their 22-mile expansive trail system. We’ll view the sandstone cave for which the park was named, enjoy a challenging and beautiful hike among the hardwood forest, and wrap up with a delicious campfire dinner to celebrate our day on the trail.
This half-day hike is longer than our normal Nebraska events and does require some experience hiking hills. Indian Cave State Park is located about 1.5hrs from Omaha or Lincoln. We encourage and can help facilitate carpooling! If you’re into it, check out their backcountry or front country camping options if you’d like to spend the night!
Registration is limited to 15 folks.
