SOLD OUT: Wild Foraged Woodland Dinner

  • Margo Frankel Woods Des Moines, IA, 50313 United States (map)

$55

The spring forage-ables are starting to pop and we want to celebrate the edible gifts Mother Nature is providing! Join us for an incredibly delicious night of learning about wild greens, hands-on foraging and crafting a communal foraged dinner together in the woods!

The night will be jam-packed with amazing food and interactive learning. We'll start our evening with a short hike through Margo Frankel Woods, where you'll learn to spot forage-able plants (like wild ramps, nettle and garlic mustard) and the best practices of safe foraging. After the hike, we'll go through a hands-on demonstration of making wild foraged pesto, an easy recipe to replicate at home! Then to cap an already awesome night, we'll enjoy a 3-course dinner featuring our foraged appetizer, a delicious pasta main and seasonal pie from Pie Bird Pies! This is a can't miss event, friends!

We are sadly not able to accommodate vegan or gluten free diets for this event. The meal will be fully vegetarian.

Registration is limited to 12 folks.
