It’s baaaack! We’re bringing back our annual Outdoor Gear & Clothing Swap and we’re thrilled to see its return!
How it works
Bring your gently-used gear and trade with others to fill your outdoor closet! For each item you bring, you'll get a gear ticket to shop. Every item at the swap can be claimed with one gear ticket, so the more you bring, the more you can swap!
Admission
Admission is free to all! Gear tickets will be available to purchase for $5. Every item will be worth one ticket. All genders welcome!
Day-of
We ask that if you are bringing gear/clothing for swapping, you drop it off between 11:30-12:30 that day so there is time to organize items. Shopping/swapping opens at 1! In the meantime, grab a drink and hang out with fellow Wanderers!

Camp kitchen items
Backpacks & day packs
Kid gear
Shoes / sandals / socks
Specialty gear like: helmets, skis, goggles, bike shorts, etc.

Vintage gear or gear that is no longer useful in modern settings

FAQ
What's the philosophy behind the gear swap?
Gear can be expensive and gear research time consuming. Often, we have clothes and gear in our closets that we've outgrown or no longer use. Instead of throwing them away or buying new gear that may or may not work for us, this is an affordable, sustainable way to find gear that helps us get outside! Plus, we get to gather with other Wanderers and spend an afternoon among friends!
Can I still shop if I don't have anything to swap?
Yes! Each item brought will cost one gear ticket. Gear tickets can be purchased by anyone for $5. If you DO bring things to swap, you'll be given one gear ticket per every item you bring.
Can I sell gear at the swap?
No selling is allowed. Please bring items you're happy to swap with others and save any items you'd like to sell for personal selling.
When's the best time to come?
We ask that anyone bringing gear to swap drops gear off between 11:30-12:30 pm (though you may bring swappable gear all afternoon if you're coming later). Shopping will start at 1 pm!
If I bring items and they aren't claimed, can I take them back with me?
If you wish to bring home items that weren't claimed, we suggest staying until the end of the event to grab your items. Any items left at the end will be donated to The Supply Hive!
