Join us for a beautiful morning at Whiterock Conservancy, one of the our favorite places in Iowa and best places to hike in the whole state!
We’ll start the morning with an in-depth hike along the preserve’s many trails. Situated on the banks of the Middle River, Whiterock is a near-pristine private nature preserve that spans almost 6,000 acres. On our guide-led interpretive hike, we’ll talk about the history and ecology of the area, and stop to learn fun nature facts. A hiker’s dream morning!
Then after our hike, we’ll find a cool space to feast as we enjoy a picnic. We’ll soak up the fall sun and enjoy a beautiful November day together.
Registration includes a guided hike, a homemade, seasonal sack lunch and hiking snacks. Come adventure at one of Iowa’s best preserves while meeting new friends and enjoying all nature has to offer!
