Bri’s Bachelorette Party
June 26-28 at Backbone State Park
Manchester, Iowa
This is the private landing page for Bri’s camping bachelorette party at the beautiful Backbone State Park. The weekend will be full of relaxation, fun, adventure, and nature. Wander Women will be taking care of all the details and providing all the gear, so all you have to worry about is having fun! We provide all the food, the tents, the sleeping bags, sleeping pads, camping chairs, and two fun guides who will be taking care of you the entire weekend.
Backbone State Park and Manchester provide the perfect backdrop for a bachelorette camping weekend. Backbone State Park is the oldest and and most unique state park in Iowa, and it provides ample opportunities for hiking, cooling down in a river stream, and various other recreational opportunities.
Manchester is about 15 minutes from the park and sits along the beautiful Maquoketa River. It’s home to fun locally owned restaurants, bars, breweries, and shops, and the famous Manchester Whitewater Park. If the weather is cooperative, we will head into Manchester on Saturday for some tubing at the Whitewater Park (fun for everyone!) and drinks at the Franklin Street Brewery.

Your party Guides
Molly Hi! I'm an Iowa native, a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, and a craft beer enthusiast. I like to hike, kayak, play soccer, travel, read, and go to live music shows. I live in Des Moines with my boyfriend, Johnny, and my dog, Lola. My scent is campfire, and my spirit animal is a red-tailed hawk.
Kerri I was raised in Iowa City but did most of my growing up on the trails of Lake MacBride State Park, a secluded natural oasis from big city life. There I saw my first owl, built many a campfire, and learned to appreciate the value and benefits of protected outdoor spaces. Today, I work at Trees Forever and as a bike mechanic at the Des Moines Bicycle Collective. I spend most of my time day dreaming up illustrious trips to national parks, riding my bike, snoozing inside my tent, or navigating a canoe. It’s a good life.
In order to make sure we have everything we need to make this the most fun and perfect weekend for Bri, we need you to register beforehand.
