Are you a new or regular hiker who's been looking to increase strength and stamina to take on longer hikes or backpacking trips? Have you gone on a trip with us and want to level up your strength and endurance to tackle hard hikes and trips on your own? This series is an amazing way to increase confidence as a hiker and backpacker, prevent injuries while out on the trail, and help you achieve harder adventures!

We've partnered with our pals at Rooted Yoga & Fitness to design a 4-week strength + conditioning program to get you ready to take on your adventure dreams this year! Together with a cohort of fellow nature lovers, you'll participate in two weekly in-person classes full of exercises designed specifically to build strength + cardiovascular stamina in preparation for hiking and backpacking. This program is beginner friendly, so even if this is your first time lifting weights or doing cardio, you'll be able to take part in the workouts!

Included in this program is 8 sessions of in-person, instructor-led strength + conditioning classes at Rooted Yoga & Fitness. Classes will take place from 5:30-6:20 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, starting November 12th and ending December 12th. No classes will take place on November 26th or 28th (the week of Thanksgiving).

Plus, you'll be surrounded by a supportive group of new friends that will help keep you accountable and celebrate your gains!

We're excited to offer this program with Rooted because we know how supportive, inclusive and fun their classes are. If you've ever felt uncomfortable in a gym setting, held back by lack of knowledge or know-how, or frustrated at working out solo, Rooted is an amazing place to begin or re-up your workout goals because of their focus on community, eliminating diet culture and supporting you no matter where you are on your strength or fitness journey. We can't wait for this program!
