What do you get when you combine the two best things in the world, pies and hikes? Pikes! Join Wander Women and Pie Bird Pies on the tastiest collaboration nature’s ever seen as we wander through our favorite parks in Central Iowa and enjoy Des Moines’ best pies! Seriously, if you haven’t tried Pie Bird Pies yet, you’re in for a life-changing treat.

Sweet, sweet fall — we're always so happy to usher you in each year! Join us for a delicious pike full of leaf peeping, early fall blooms and flavors to celebrate the new season! We'll hike at Yellow Banks Park on a trail that takes us through many landscapes to witness the change of the season in the forest, prairie and more. Then we'll gather for a campfire and equinox reading while we chow down on amazing handcrafted pie and homemade cider. Everyone's favorite season is almost upon us!

About the pie, from Kristen of Pie Bird Pies: Each participant will enjoy a slice of brown butter apple crumble pie with Pie Bird's famous vanilla bean whipped cream and an iced (or hot if it's cool enough!) spiced cider (spiced apple cider w/ honey + chamomile). We're already drooling.
