End-of-Season Nebraska Celebration

  • Schramm Park State Recreation Area 20874 Nebraska 31 Gretna, NE, 68028 United States (map)

What a great second season, Nebraska! Come out and celebrate with us as we enjoy the fall weather and gather together with all the awesome Wanderers and partners from our summer season!

We’ll start with an optional short hike at 12:30PM on the Platte River Trail at Schramm State Park, wandering alongside the Platte River and among the changing fall foliage (approx 1.25 miles, all flat). After that (around 2PM), we’ll join together at the Schramm Education Center. Here, you can walk through their interactive exhibits to learn about Nebraska’s aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. Wander your way back to the event space and we will have heavy snacks and beverages to enjoy on their outdoor picnic tables and patio! You’ll watch a slideshow of our summer events, can check out our custom Wander Women swag, and connect with other Wander Women friends from other trips. Gather around the campfire one last time and cheers to the great outdoor wandering.

We would love to see you all together one last time this season! This event is free and is a come-and-go flow style event. We want to thank you for another awesome spring and summer and celebrate all the energy you’ve given to growing our community.
