Join Wander Women and Pie Bird Pies on the tastiest collaboration nature’s ever seen as we wander through our favorite parks in Central Iowa and enjoy Des Moines’ best pies! Seriously, if you haven’t tried Pie Bird Pies yet, you’re in for a life-changing treat.
Who says you can't have nice things in the winter? Not us! Join us for the first of our winter Pikes with Pie Bird Pies as we traipse the trails of Jester Park before enjoying a roaring fire, seasonal hand pies and homemade hot cocoa (a famous Pie Birds recipe!) Our bodies might start cold, but by the end of the pike, our heads, hearts and toes will be warm with deliciousness and joy!
About the pie, from Kristen of Pie Bird Pies: Each participant will enjoy two mitten-shaped hand pies (brown sugar cinnamon and double Nutella), as well as some delicious oat milk hot chocolate. We're already drooling.

This Bite-Sized Adventure is rated at Beginner because our hike will take place on well groomed trails with access to primitive amenities.
