Another supper club tour? You betcha. We’re taking the show on the road and headed across the river to Minnesota, where supper club culture is alive and well!
Stay with us just outside the Twin Cities as we discover the best supper clubs the area has to offer! We’ll visit three of the best supper clubs in the state in the evenings, and nature it up during the days.
Don’t know what a supper club is? They’re locally-owned gems that have been a staple of Midwestern culture since the 30s and a throwback to prohibition: think upscale Midwestern dishes, relish trays, sassy bartenders, perfectly-crafted classic cocktails and more! Our carefully curated itinerary takes you on a tour of the some of Minnesota’s most beloved supper clubs, offering an authentic taste of the Midwest’s culinary heritage.
But wait, don’t think we’re aren’t getting outside on this trip — we’ll also be paddling a National Scenic Riverway, hiking at one of the state’s prettiest state parks, touring the urban natural areas of Minneapolis, and staying in adorable camper cabins! Throw in an old fashioned cocktail class and a pickling demonstration (we’re really leaning into the theme, y’all), and this trip has everything a Midwestern lover could dream of.

ACCOMMODATIONS & LOCATION
We’ll be staying in camper cabins at Afton State Park, just 20 mins outside the Twin Cities and perfectly situated for our supper club picks. The cabins feature two sets of bunk beds, A/C and heat, screened-in porches and have access to pit toilets. There are no showers at the park.
About Afton State Park
Afton State Park was established in 1969 for visitors to experience unique natural features and enjoy outdoor recreation. Just forty minutes east of the Twin Cities, the park lies along bluffs overlooking the St. Croix River. Here you will see wildflowers and grasses in restored prairies that were once agricultural fields. Below, outcrops of limestone jut from the sides of deep, forested ravines that drop three hundred feet to the river. Make your way down to the water’s edge and watch for wildlife. The park’s diverse habitats make it a birdwatcher’s haven with over 190 species, some of which are rare. Source: Minnesota DNR
